DETAILED ITINERARY:

Day 1: Mandalay- Mogok

You will be picked up from the hotel by our tour representative about 8:00 am in the morning. We will drive to Mogok and on the way, you can have lunch at local restaurant. Make a stop and break at Shwe Nyaung Bin station gate to see the local products, shops and food stalls. Arrive Kyatpyin at the western part of Mogok, you will visit to the gem market: locally called “Pan Ma Htar Pwe” near the Panma open-air market. You will see the scenic views of the town from the top of Daw Nan Kyi Taung and its pagoda with peaceful atmosphere. Then, you will have opportunity to see the view over the coffee plantation fields. Mogok is very colorful with different people like Shan-chinsese, Napalese, Palaung, Leshaw, Burmese and Lisu.

Overnight in Mogok

Day 2: Mogok

After breakfast at hotel, visit to the gem market called “Manimingalar” near Mogok Motel in there you can see various beautiful gemstones with various sizes. Proceed to the biggest gemstones market called “Pan Chan Htar Pwe”; observe the precious colorful rubies and witness the selling and buying. The big lake can be found significantly in the very center of town. Afternoon sightseeing will be a visit to gem painting workshop and gemstone (quartz) polishing centre. Then, we will drive 20 km uphill to Bar Nat Village; visit to the small local market in the village. In this village, you might see the ethnic people’ culture, lives and tradition. Continue visit to private old British Solider Cemetery where the tombs of soldiers are in nature. And next to the old armory in which arms and ammunitions were placed during the reign of British. Then, explore at the “Pan Lin Paridot” Mine which is producing the good quality peridot. On the way back, you will see the breathtaking views from the highest mountains road.

Overnight in Mogok

Day 3: Mogok- Mandalay

After breakfast at hotel, visit to the Nilar market which is interesting to see local products, fruits, vegetables and foods. Visit to the Kyauk Pya That Pagoda which is one of the most sublime religious monuments located on the top of rocky cliff. Then, you will be transferred back to Mandalay. Arrive Mandalay in the late evening.
