Day 1: Mandalay (arrival)- Amarpura
Day 2: Mingun- Ava

Day 1: Mandalay –Amarapura

Upon arrival at Mandalay international airport, you will be warmly welcomed by guide. Sightseeing starts at Mahagandaryone monastery where you will see over 1400 monks celebrating alms donation occasion and having lunch silently. U Bein bridge, the world longest teak bridge, walk for minutes to observe local vendors’ and fishermen’ lives and feel fresh air with nice atmosphere. Return to Mandalay for check-in at hotel. Evening city tours start with Royal Palace which was the last seat of Burmese Kings' and get damage during Second World War. See Golden Palace Monastery which is very beautiful with exquisite 19 century woodcarvings shaping angles, mythical animals and it has been as typical teak monastery. Visit to Kuthodaw Pagoda complex, recognized as the world largest book as all marble slabs on which Buddhist scriptures are inscribed. Watch the beautiful sunset over the city at natural tower known as Mandalay Hill.

7Day 2: Mingun- Ava

 

After breakfast at hotel, visit to Mingun (river-side historical site) by chartered boat from Mayanjan Jetty where your private awaits. Visit to the “Settawyar Pagoda” which was built and moved from Amarapura to the present site by King Bodawpaya, “Pahtotawgyi” massive unfinished pagoda, Mingun bell which is the largest functioning bronze-cast bell in the world, Memorial hall of Mingun Sayardaw and Hsin Byu Me Pagoda, very beautiful and sublime white-washed pagoda. You will have opportunity to stroll inside the simple village to touch with local life-style and rural experience. After sightseeing, set sail downstream back to jetty.

 

 

 

 

 

Next visit will be Ava and take boat to cross the river. Have fun horse-cart riding in Ava (ancient capital of Myanmar Kings) and go to the Bagayar Monastery built with large teak woods and some carvings, “Yadanarsimi” Pagoda. Head to the Nanmyint watch-tower, only one still remaining thing from Ava royal palace buildings and “Mahaaungmyaybonesan” brick-made monastery, the finest architectural religious monument of Ava era. After sightseeing, drive back to Mandalay.

Day 3: Mandalay – Sagaing – Monywa – Pho Win Taung – Bagan

After breakfast at hotel, morning drive to Sagaing (City of Victory) which is located at the west bank of the Ayeyarwaddy River. We will drive up to the top of the Sagaing Hill: see the panoramic view of the city and confluence of the two rivers: visit to “Soonooponyashin” pagoda famous for its background history about frog and hare statues. Next visit to the U Min Thone Sal pagodas. Then, continue drive to Monwya, pay homage to the world’s highest standing Buddha Image called Lay Kyun Set Kyar, wonderful Bo Tree temple (1000 Bo trees) and Than Buddhay Temple which is filled with amazing architectural style of 582,028 Buddha statues. Explore to the Pho Win Hill sandstone caves which contain mural paintings dating back to 16 century and several Buddha statues. Proceed drive to Bagan (vast historic site dotted with numerous pagodas showing Myanmar arts, architecture, culture and religions) via passing Pakkoku bridge, longest one crossing on the Ayeyarwaddy River.

Day 4: Bagan

After breakfast at hotel, visit to busy local market which is very bustling with local products, fruits, souvenir shops and traditional dresses. Spend today exploring Bagan’s amazing monuments: Gu Byauk Gyi |Temple (Wetkyi In Village) and stop at the tallest temple measuring 61 metres- Thatbinnyu Temple known as “temple of omniscience”. Visit lacquer ware Industry in Myingabar Village and continue to Manuha Temple built by King Manuha. Next highlights include ShweZi Gone (prototype of late Myanmar’s stupas) Ananda (the finest architectural arts in Bagan and previous four standing Buddha images), Htilominlo (favor of king, favor of umbrella. Pay homage to “Dammayangyi” Temple, the biggest one in Bagan.

Day 5: Bagan fly to Heho – Inle

After breakfast at hotel, transfer early morning to Nyaung U airport to fly to Heho with domestic flight. Arrive at Heho airptort and drive to Inle by passing through the colorful farms of ethnic people like Pa-o, Palaung and Taungyoe. Start sightseeing in the lake by private boat to see traditional silk weaving looms, the silversmith, the unique lifestyle of Inn Thar people. You will observe monastic life, education at the ancient monastery called Ngaphechaung which is famous for its Shan Buddha images and region’s most revered pagoda known as “Phaungdawoo” five gold-gilded Buddha images. Continue to Indein, passing through smaller canals to reach the western bank of Inle Lake where this magical village is located. Stroll through the village before continuing on foot to the top of a stupa-covered hill called Shwe Indein. Enjoy the views from the top and the peaceful setting as the stupas small bells chime in the wind. Following this insightful visit, return to the jetty and climb in your boat for the journey back to your hotel.

Day 6: Inle – Heho fly to Yangon

 

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Heho Airport to fly to Yangon by domestic flight. Your city tourwill be started with “Kabaraye” (world peace pagoda), Htauk-Kyant Allied War Memorial Cemetery in which 27000 tomb stones of allied soldiers died in Second World War. You will continue to National Museum displays various antique Myanmar’s arts, manuscripts, handicrafts, thrones, royal regalia and archeological edifices and artifacts of the whole country. Explore the china town fruit market. Later visit to the Shwedagon Pagoda (326 feet) on the top of the holly Thainguttara Hill end of Himaleyas mountain ranges and built more than 2500 years ago.

Day 7: Yangon (departure)


After breakfast at hotel, transfer to the airport to take international flight for departure.
