Day 1: Mandalay (Arrival)

 

Upon arrival at Mandalay International Airport, you will be welcomed by your guide. We will transfer and drive to Mandalay for almost one hour long. Transfer to hotel for check-in to stay overnight.

Day 2: Mandalay- Amarapura- Kalaw

 

After breakfast at hotel, check-out from hotel and visit to the most country’s revered Pagoda called Mahamuni (The Great Buddha) which was taken from Arakan (Rakkhine) to the present site during the reign of King Bodawphaya. This Buddha Imgae is gilded by 24 garat gold foils and in thickness is more than 30 cm. You will see the Bronze Figures placed in the glass house and was brought from Cambodia.

 

 

 

 

 

Then, visit to the stone-carving center to observe making the Buddha statues. We will drive to Amarapura which was one of ancient capitals of Myanmar Kingdoms. The Mahaganayone Monastery is very famous for its celebration of offering alms to monks and more than 1000 of monks are living here. You can study about the monastic education, daily life and see the monastic attendants called Phoe Thu Taw who are only can be found at here. Then, walk for minutes on the world longest teak made bridge known as U Bein Bridge which is 1.2 km long and built with 1058 teak posts. Proceed driving to Kalaw for approximately 6 hours and this land is very beautiful with nice landscapes and mountains views.

Day 3: Kalaw Sightseeing

 After breakfast at hotel, start sightseeing a visit to the famous Shwe U Min Cave. Get there by taking either the lift or access by the hundreds of steps. Once on the top, it gives a fantastic panoramic view on the opposite hills, statues of giant spider and Archer prince who was throwing at spider with arrow, the town, big banyan trees. From the Shwe U Min Pagoda, starts a network of passages and caves with over 8000 statues of the Buddha from different sizes and material. Most of the statues were brought by the pilgrims during the 18th century. Make a stop at parasols (umbrella) making centre to see how to make them with traditional methods near the cave.Then, drive back to Kalaw for next visit to the Bamboo Buddha Image which was built over 500 years ago and famous among the local pilgrims. Drive back to hotel.

Day 4: Kalaw- Inle

 

After breakfast at hotel, check out from hotel. Visit to the Kalaw Market, colorful place of hill tribes are coming to buy and sell local products, foods and traditional dresses. Drive to Inle, on the way you can see local transportation system at Aung Ban Train Station and visit to the Big Trading Centre of local products such as cabbage, cauliflowers, chili, bell-peppers, sesame flowers and a lot. This place is rarely found in Myanmar. Next visit to the Khaung Taing Village to see the local life and works like sunflower roasting, crushing beas, making crackers and steeping rice and so forth. And then, we will drive to Inle to chek-in at hotel for night stay.

12Day 5: Inle

 After breakfast at hotel, explore in the Inle lake by boat to see floating islands of vegetation, one-leg rowing fishermen’s fishing business, lovely stilt houses in the water-village, silk-weaving workshop and Padaung people at Ywama, daily activities and lives of Innthas in the lake. Continue exploring to the ancient “Ngaphekyaung” Monastery to study monks’ daily life, monastic education. Boat ride to Inn-dain village on the west bank of lake is very typical to observe local people’s walk of lives. Stroll inside the historic shwe-inn-dain ruined-pagodas complex with Shan Style. You will see the Lotus weaving and traditional cheroot-making process in the lake. Phaung-Daw-Oo is the most revered and holiest pagoda houses small five gold-gilded images.

Day 6: Inle- Heho fly to Bagan


After breakfast at hotel, check out from hotel. Drive to Heho airport to take flight to Bagan. Our team will transfer you from the airport to hotel. Afternoon exploring to Bagan’s amazing monuments and local villages with guide. Highlights include Shwe Zi Gone (prototype of late Myanmar’s stupas) Ananda (the finest architectural arts in Bagan and previous four standing Buddha images), Htilominlo (favor of king, favor of umbrella, Bu Paya (phyu-styple pagoda on the river bank), Lawkananda (one of donation of King Anawyahtar) and AlodawPyay (wish-fulfilling pagoda). Enjoy sunset on the hill over thousands of dotted pagodas.

Day 7: Bagan

 

After breakfast at hotel, visit to busy local market, Gu Byauk Gyi (Wetkyi In Village) and stop at the tallest temple measuring 61 metres- Thatbinnyu Temple known as “temple of omniscience”. Visit lacquer ware Industry in Myingabar Village and continue to Manuha Temple built by King Manuha, Nanphaya Temple, sandstone monument and explore to Myingabar Gu Byaukgyi Temple in there mural paintings can be seen. Visit to Myazedi stupa to see “Myazedi Stone Slab” on which bearing inscriptions written in four languages. Pay homage to “Dammayangyi” Temple, the biggest one in Bagan, Sulamini Temple and Kandawpalin (pay respect to the forebears).

Day 8: Bagan fly to Yangon

 

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Nyaung Oo airport to fly to Yangon by domestic flight. Your city tour will be started with “Kabaraye” (world peace pagoda), Htauk-Kyant Allied War Memorial Cemetery in which 27000 tomb stones of allied soldiers died in Second World War. You will continue to National Museum displays various antique Myanmar’s arts, manuscripts, handicrafts, thrones, royal regalia and archeological edifices and artifacts of the whole country. Explore the china town fruit market. Later visit to the Shwedagon Pagoda (326 feet) on the top of the holly Thainguttara Hill end of Himaleyas mountain ranges and built more than 2500 years ago.

Day 9: Yangon

After breakfast at hotel, start city tour sightseeing to the Sule Pagoda stands in the heart ofthe city, collection of various religious buildings around there. Take a short walk to the Mahabandoola public park, which contains the Independence monument, Town Hall registered at the list of Yangon Heritage sites and High court, the partly occupied building now functions as a local court. Continue visit to Botahtaung Pagoda where can walk along a spiraling corridor with glass mosaic into the innermost part of the spire and see the relic chamber inside and visit to Chaukhtetgyi reclining pagoda (the second largest one in the world).Explore to shop at Bogyoke Aungsan Market or Scott Market selling various souvenirs, colorful national races’ dresses, jewelry-made fancy things and a lot. Walk among old colonial buildings along Strand Road and Pasodan Street in the city centre to see the variety of architecture styles and living style of city-dwellers.

Day 10: Transfer to the airport to take international flight for departure.
